We are excited to announce the third name in our lineup for the Trance Signal Festival 2024: Johan Gielen presents Airscape! Get ready to experience an unforgettable performance on October 5th, 2024, at Schallwerk, Oberhausen.

Johan Gielen, a pioneer in the trance music scene, brings the iconic Airscape project to life, showcasing a legacy of timeless tracks and electrifying remixes. The Airscape name, originally a collaboration between Sven Maes and other producers, was resurrected in 1997 by Maes and Gielen. Together, they created hits like „Cruising,“ „Pacific Melody,“ „L’Esperanza,“ and „Sosei,“ and delivered legendary remixes for tracks such as Alice Deejay’s „The Lonely One,“ Delerium feat. Sarah McLachlan’s „Silence,“ Safri Duo’s „Played-A-Live,“ and Tiësto’s „Lethal Industry.“

In 2005, the Airscape project took a hiatus when Sven Maes departed, but Johan Gielen revitalized it as a solo endeavor in 2009.
