Known for his seamless transition from the hard trance era as part of the Dutch duo “Bas & RAM” to his melodic trance solo career, RAM has captivated clubbers around the world. His performances are a staple at premier events such as Mysteryland, A State of Trance, Dreamstate, Qlimax, and many more. RAM’s track “RAMsterdam” marked a significant milestone in his career, earning the title of “Tune of the Year” on ASOT and being recognized as the “best track of the year” by Armin van Buuren. A few years later, in October 2013, RAM released “RAMelia” in memory of his late wife Amelia. This heartfelt collaboration with Susana garnered worldwide acclaim, securing 8 consecutive plays on A State of Trance and being voted Future Favorite with 61.9% of the votes. “RAMelia” also achieved the #2 spot in the ASOT 2013 Tune of the Year, becoming a timeless anthem in the trance community.
Looking ahead to 2023, RAM is set to release his second artist album “Wanderlust,” featuring collaborations with notable vocalists such as Roxanne Emery, Sarah de Warren, and Susana. Additionally, RAM has secured a residency at Galame, the leading club in China, and embarked on a new project with fellow Dutch artist Richard Durand, titled “RAM & Richard Durand Presents Digital Culture.”
